Students receive a two (2) year certification for both First Aid and CPR from the National Safety Council. This course combines lectures, demonstrations and video with hands-on training and practice. Participants in this course learn to recognize and respond to emergencies including shock, cardiac and breathing emergencies for adults. Students will also learn how to treat everything from heat and cold emergencies, sudden illnesses, poisonings, and cuts & scrapes to muscle, bone and joint injuries. This also includes AED training. Blood borne pathogen awarenss is optional.
